Floating picture

Make something appear to float - I used a photo and retouched and tinted until looked like the Cheshire cat - floating in space. I like the mysterious expression on Jillie's face.

Labels

Design a label and apply it to something in your home. It can be a re-labeling project or a usable lable to identify the item. Bonus: get permission to re-label things in a public place such as a store.

I just made a bunch of peach preserves and have been intending to make labels for them. Today was my chance.

Bookmark

Make a unique bookmark, and leave it in a book at the library or a bookstore for someone else to find. Here is my bookmark of ribbon and a button - I plan to leave it in a book at Daniel Boone Regional library next time I go. See if you can find it!

Chopsticks

Make something with chopsticks today. Over the years we have had friends who traveled in the Orient, although we have never been there. This is a still-life arrangement of some of the pretty things they have brought back to us.

Human body

Today use only your human body to create something. I couldn't make snow angels and didn't want to body paint, so I chose interesting shadows on various surfaces. This one had the best composition.

Documentation

Today I was to take something I had made with me and document it as I went through my day. I was home today, watering plants so the object didn't get a lot of exotic locations.

Unappetizing

Take something edible and make it look unappetizing (but still edible) There is something about this shade of blue that doesn't appeal to be good to eat. I also thought about whether this hand has been washed or not. The grapes were good.
