This project involved removin the color from something to create the illusion of a black and white photo. I tooks the liberty of focusing on the manta ray by removing all the color around him.
Today's assignment was to transtorm a room into a new environment - temporarily or permanently. I have been clearing clutter all week so this project fit right in! I have moved all the kid toys, books, and games into the small bedroom. They have been scattered throughout the house. It looks so much tidier and I got rid of a lot of outgrown things. I liked this project!
I'm on Day229 and somewhat bogged down! This mosaic is made with colored beads. As you can probably tell, I did not find this very interesting as a project. Actually, now that I look at it, I think it is upside down, Oh well.
Today's assignment was to think up a new holiday. I think we should have a national eat chocolate holiday. Create a food item, decoration or card to celebrate this event. This is a chocolate candy wreath - a very appropriate decoration for an eating event. Of these, my favoite is Reese's peanut butter cups. Mmmmm.
Work with or be inspired by a bicycle or parts of bikes. I took a bunch of phots of bikes from various directions. This one was the best composition and I went with black and white pencil sketch to keep your eye centered on the three wheels and how they intersect.
Work with things to create something that is balanced - extra credit for documenting it falling apart when touched. These sponge shapes are fun to play with and have nice bright colors. This is physically balanced as well as design-wise balanced. I touched it and it fell. (No extra credit for documentation!)
Using a deck of cards make something today - or you can make an original deck of cards. I took the easy way out on this because it just didn't seem to prompt anything original. This is a set of Scrabble Slam cards.
